Thameera Rachid Nesief, 50, has two children and lives in Baghdad. On the last day of Ramadan 2009, she and her daughter were driving to Tikrit to celebrate Eid al-Fitr with family when a fast moving convoy of US military vehicles coming in the opposite direction rammed her car, destroying it. Both of her legs and an arm were severely broken. They have not healed properly due to lack of specialized treatment.  Amman, Jordan.
