Albert Yousif, president of the A2Z cleaning company, eating lunch with his employees in the company offices. Mr. Yousif is an Iraqi refugee who came to the US in 1992 following the first Gulf War. He arrived with $25 in his pocket. He wanted to see what the "land of opportunity" meant. He worked hard at two jobs, including a janitorial company. One year later he became a partner with the American owner. A year after that the owner went through a divorce and sold the company to Mr. Yousif. He has built the company up, expanded the business and now employs 35 people, including several refugees recently arrived from Iraq.
